'Fluidity' no. 4 (2025)
This abstract cyanotype was created using a wet cyanotype process with a large-format negative, printed on 8” x 10” Hahnemühle Platinum Rag Fine Art Paper. The process involved layering in natural materials—such as turmeric, vinegar, washing soda, and green tea—onto the sensitized surface, then exposing the piece to direct sunlight. The unpredictable interactions between chemistry, organic materials, and light result in complex tonal shifts, textures, and forms that blur the line between photography, painting, and printmaking.
The finished work is meticulously matted and framed in an 11” x 14” light oak frame, completed with HD tempered UV-protective glass to ensure lasting preservation and clarity.
Print available matted only, without frame, priced at $395. Please contact the studio here
